Buyer- Menswear

As we continue to evolve our offering across style and lifestyle, we're looking for an experienced Menswear Buyer to join our dynamic Buying team and play a key role in driving the future of men's fashion at Farmers. This position is based at our Support Office in Auckland, New Zealand.

What you'll be doing: As a Menswear Buyer, you'll take full ownership of the category from trend forecasting, range building, and supplier negotiations through to in-store execution. With your strong commercial acumen and passion for product, you'll ensure we're delivering inspiring, on-trend, and high performing ranges that meet the evolving needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute seasonal buying strategies that align with customer needs and business objectives
• Manage end-to-end product lifecycle, from planning and sourcing to pricing and promotions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both local and international suppliers
• Analyse sales performance and trends to make data-led decisions
• Work closely with Planning, Marketing, and VM teams to bring compelling product stories to life in-store and online

About you:

• Proven experience in a similar Buying role - ideally within menswear or fashion apparel
• A strong eye for style, trends, and detail
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills
• Confident in analysing data and making commercial decisions
• A natural collaborator, communicator, and planner
• Resilient, adaptable, and passionate about retail
