An exciting opportunity has become available for a Buyers Assistant to join the White & Co team and start their buying career. Supporting the buying team and reporting to the Senior Buyer/Planner this role is an entry level position with potential for the right person to develop and progress up into a buying or related role within our Buying team in the future.

**The Role**

As a Buyers Assistant you be liaising with our international/local supplier network daily.

This role is integral in ensuring our key internal stakeholders; including our store operations, logistics, e-commerce, planning & buying departments are well supported with accurate information.

**Responsibilities**:

- Purchase order raising and amendments for weekly reorders and indent
- Data input for the seasonal product running sheet
- Creating the visual buys for the buying team from external brands seasonal ranges
- General administration, inventory management and preparation of weekly reports for team meetings
- Running reports & keeping on top of post trade visual buys for the buying teams showings
- Liaising with Head Office, retail, and warehouse teams to keep everyone up to date on deliveries from external suppliers daily
- Raising/picking/unpacking transfers between Head Office & the shop
- Liaising with international manufacturers to ensure the critical path dates for the White & Co brand are met
- Buy plan input, administration, and management to a high degree of accuracy
- Range delivery updates to the buying & head office teams including delays, receipted, and shipped goods
- Sample management for in house brand including collating samples for relevant meetings or deadlines

**What are we looking for?**

Experience
- Experience as a Buying Assistant or similar role
- Tertiary qualification in fashion design, planning, buying or merchandising
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with data
- Proficient in Excel & Microsoft Office
- Clear understanding of the retail landscape and online/instore shopping experience
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Photoshop/Illustrator skills advantageous
