Content Marketer

**ABOUT THE JOB**

We're a Melbourne-based creative agency seeking an experienced content marketer and copywriter to join our team in a permanent full-time position.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, you’ll work directly with clients to provide strategic advice and tactical delivery in accordance with their needs and brief. In addition, you’ll be working on producing well crafted copy across a range of formats.

You’ll be required to own projects and campaigns, and see them to completion. This means you’ll need to be a skilled communicator and project manager in dealing with delivery partners, freelancers, media agencies etc.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Copywriting** - content marketing is one of our specialties, so you’ll be writing for a range of channels and uses. Everything from Value Propositions, Websites, blogging, socials, video scripting and storyboards, to good old marketing collateral.

**Content production**:

- which is a great segue to actually getting the content produced. You’ll work with our in-house design and development team, or external freelancers and delivery partners as needed, to bring words to life and complete work to the highest standard.

**Client Management**:

- you’ll work closely with clients including taking briefs for new work, formulating well-thought-out responses, and working closely with our in-house designers, or third-party partners to deliver projects and campaigns.

**Client advice**:

- Working with the marketing director, you’ll need to absorb a brief and figure out the best response to solving the client's problem. This will require you to know your marketing fundamentals, and take the time to deeply understand our client's businesses.

**ABOUT YOU**
- 5+ years experience working in marketing or communications fields. Client or agency side, either is fine.
- Tertiary qualifications - in marketing, with B2B marketing experience ideal.
- Proven copywriting experience - copywriting, editing, and proofreading across a range of formats.
- Project/campaign management track record - you can keep things moving, maintain open lines of communication with clients and partners, and use project management tools like Monday/com effectively.
- Budget management - you can manage time across projects, our project budget, or the client’s media budgets.
- Digital marketing experience - across Google, paid and organic socials, CRM is not essential but a bonus.

**ABOUT THE BENEFITS**
- Salary dependent on experience and skill level (salary range $70-$80k inc super)

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
