**The Role**
The Information Assurance Systems Program Office (IA SPO) is seeking a highly motivated APS 5 Materiel Logistics Governance Officer who will support the delivery and implementation of governance and compliance measures for the management of Defence materiel.
Key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Identifying and interpreting relevant domestic and international legislation, regulations, and policies in support of business processes.
- Working with limited guidance in undertaking specialist research, conducting investigations, and performing procedural support work.
- Providing succinct, clear, and accurate advice to internal and external to Defence stakeholders.
- Assisting in the development of plans, procedures, and instructions to support business objectives.
**About our Team**
IA SPO is part of Joint Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Systems (JC4S) Branch within Joint Systems Division (JSD) of the Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG), delivering and sustaining information assurance technology in support of the Australian Defence Organisation.
The APS 5 ML Governance Officer position is based in Canberra, and is part of a small, collaborative team that provides compliance and governance advice to all functions within IASPO and to external stakeholders.
