**The Role**
Under the broad guidance of the EL 1 Risk Governance you will:

- Understand the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and contemporary security management practice.
- Provide advice on protective security matters, predominately to HQ JLC members.
- Collate, research and analyse protective security data to contribute to the development of reports, submissions and briefings.
- Assist with Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) governance and management for JLC industry partners and contractors.
- Deliver security inductions and overseas travel briefings as required.
- Undertake personnel security clearance verification tasks.
- Facilitate security clearances and associated actions for personnel.
- Business management administration (including group mailbox management, intranet and recordkeeping).
- Assist with Work Health & Safety and Risk Management related tasks as required.
- Actively participate in teamwork, group activities and Command initiatives.
