Highlands General Practice is an innovative and progressive general practice with sites at Bowral and Moss Vale. Due to ongoing practice development we have a great opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join our highly skilled and friendly team.

This position is a key member of our management team and is responsible for providing support, direction and oversight of the day-to-day operations of the practice. Key to the success of the role is supporting and managing our reception team to provide exceptional customer service delivery to our patients, clients and internal customers

**The successful applicant will**:

- Work well independently but also effectively and collaboratively with the leadership team to manage operational and project based activities.
- Have demonstrated ability to successfully lead a high performing team including promoting and developing a positive, customer service culture with a focus on systems improvement.
- Have exceptional communication skills.
- Be a critical thinker who can analyse situations and find innovative solutions.
- Previous systems experience including process, policy development/review and implementation.
- Identify, plan, develop and execute efficient change management initiatives.
- Plan, organise and manage competing priorities in a busy and dynamic work environment.
- Have a high level of computer literacy.

Previous medical or health industry experience is a plus but not essential

**Responsibilities (but not limited to)**:

- Lead day-to-day organisational operations, managing staff including the reception team, Nurse Manager and GP Registrars.
- Evaluating and improving operational processes.
- Ensure both practices consistently deliver high quality customer service.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to the management team and General Manager including contributing to operational meetings.
- Manage multiple projects ensuring reasonable timelines are met.
- Key contact for Self Employed and registrar Doctors.
- Develop productive and collegiate working relationships with doctors, clients and other stakeholders.
- Identify and coordinate training requirements for the Reception Team.
- Assist in managing organisational recruitment and onboarding.
- Provide guidance and supervision to teams across both sites.
