Position: Hotel Service Manager/Head Housekeeper
Work Type: Full Time
Location: Southern Highlands, NSW
**Salary**: $60,000 - $80,000
Some of your duties will include:
- Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a high standard of customer management at all times
- Plan, organise, and direct housekeeping team to ensure guest satisfaction
- Direct and oversee reservation, reception, room service and housekeeping activities
- Coordinate cleaning standards in all areas of the hotel ie. front of house, bar, floor, kitchen and office, to ensure that best practice is maintained by the team and that any areas requiring improvement may be identified
- Demonstrate excellent use of cleaning equipment and utensils, and be an example to the team
- Provide recruitment and training for housekeeping team, ensuring high level of cleanliness standards are met
- Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory
- Maintain the housekeeping budget and provide billing summaries and expenses pre and post event
- Provide appropriate tools and equipment to employees, ensuring proper maintenance of all equipment
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Take full responsibility for the set-up and effective operation of the Hotel, within company policies & procedures at all times
- Ensure that opening and closing procedures are adhered to, in line with company policies & procedures, taking account of security and the health & safety of your team, hotel guests, and property
To be eligible for this role:
- Relevant qualification
- Relevant work experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
