**About the Role**:
The role will be primarily responsible to support the International Logistics team to ensure efficient and effective delivery from point of shipment (ETD) through to unload at national cold store locations, ensuring during this process that organizational policies and local regulations are complied with.

The position will be **Permanent Full time **and based in Mulgrave, Victoria.

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring and updating information relating to ETA’s, transshipments, unload dates and Biosecurity/IFIS holds.
- Ensuring the maintenance of container status in SAP once Shipments have been dispatched and Suppliers have provided all the correct Documentations.
- Updating of all relevant department of shipment delays/early arrival.
- Chasing and compiling all import documentation required for clearance and ensuring this is pre-cleared with customs broker before vessel ETA
- Liaising with transport companies to ensure booked time slots at wharf will meet the required slot at the cold store/ customer premise.
- Investigate EDI discrepancies and late provision from 3PL cold store.
- Receipt stock in SAP for shipments delivered direct to customers.
- Timely communicating to QA/Logistic Team/Sales/Purchase/Cold Stores with any issue involved.
- Checking & coding transport, lab, clearance invoices are correctly invoiced for payments.
- Issuing claims onto International and Logistic suppliers and ensuring these claims are settled.
- Organizing and managing applicable Biosecurity/IFIS inspections as required.
- Arranging clearance and delivery of import airfreight samples required for company evaluation.
- Sorting and compiling of original docs, lodging OBL to shipping lines and updating SAP of status.
- Monitoring and securing quickest clearance and delivery for all Samples Airfreights.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Business or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in FMCG/Retail industry with knowledge of DAWE regulations and a sound understanding of Australia’s Imports Regulations and Policies
- Previous experience working within the logistics industry (shipping line/freight forwarder/transport operations) and experience working with international suppliers.
- High level of computer literacy including MS Office suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
