**About Us**:
KB Seafood Co. is one of Australia’s largest seafood companies operating at all levels of the supply chain including catching, processing, manufacturing, importing, exporting, and wholesaling. We provide over 30,000 tonnes of seafood annually to leading foodservice operators and major supermarkets.

**About The Role**:
You will play a major role in the implementation and management of the quality assurance processes and systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Maintaining quality assurance protocols and standard operating procedures for KB Mulgrave office.
- Perform internal audits and help to maintain the audit schedule for Mulgrave’s quality management system and ensure all audits are completed, followed up in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of KB products to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Support with managing the product quality assessments for all KB imported products (includes sensory evaluation, label reviews, product specification updates), ensuring all KB products meet the agreed product specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant food safety and compliance regulations, such as HACCP, GFSI, CFMSR, WSEP, Aldi, MSC/ASC, BAP, RSPO and other applicable standards for KB products.
- Maintain product database and update KB specifications.
- Communicate to supply base customers compliance requirements and updates - specifically Coles, WW, Aldi, Costco, HelloFresh, Marley Spoon etc.

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- Tertiary Qualifications either in Food Technology or other Food Science
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within FMCG or Food organisations
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, food quality and legislative/regulatory requirements in GFSI standards
- Strong experience working with customer specific platforms
- Keen eye for detail and strong sense of accountability and responsibility
- HACCP/Food Safety Qualification/Accreditation (desired)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- High level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office suite
