**The role**:
Join the Digital Health Branch on a fixed term temporary basis for 6 months. You will provide expert advice in the development, implementation and reporting against OCCIO's strategy, strategic priorities and operational plan, and manage the financial, human resource, project management and operational functions for OCCIO.

**In addition to this, you will**:

- Provide advice and expertise to ensure the efficient and successful operation of OCCIO.
- Provide strategic advice and lead the development, consultation, implementation, and continuous improvement of OCCIO strategic and operational planning, ensuring alignment with Queensland Health, Digital Metro North and Clinical Excellence Queensland strategic directions and priorities
- Engage and collaborate with the Senior Director, OCCIO to develop and implement OCCIO's Program of Work and establish systems /tools to monitor, adjust and measure benefit
- Provide expert advice on the use of appropriate program and project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including but not limited to change management, risk and issue management, financial management, benefits management and benefits realisation, to ensure quality outcomes are delivered

Are you right for this role?
The ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of large scale programs/projects preferably in the health care industry.
- Demonstrated leadership at a senior level, with the ability to successfully lead a team, set direction, motivate and inspire staff, promoting an environment where staff are valued, developed and coached to perform at their full potential.
- Proven stakeholder relationship management skills to support effective business change, including the ability to initiate relationships and influence key stakeholders.
- Proven excellent negotiation, consultation, facilitation, and effective written and oral communication skills for use in a complex project environment.
- Demonstrated understanding or the ability to upskill in QLD Health's strategic digital agenda.
