Chartwells are specialists in providing catering and hospitality services in education. Our goal is to provide engaging and nutritious dining solutions tailored to support academic achievement at the highest levels.

**THE POSITION**
- Responsible for the direction and leadership of the onsite catering team and the provision of catering services across this business (functions, events, residential catering and retail)
- You will be in charge of a total team of 40 with operations in residential functions and retail sales.
- Large retail aspect to the contract.
- Responsibility for the operational and financial performance of this business.
- Direction and leadership of the onsite catering team.
- The provision of catering services across this business.
- Maintaining the focus on quality menu design, food preparation and service and innovation,
- Customer service and satisfaction is a key driver this role.
- Work closely with client and executive chef.

**THE PERSON**
- The ability to foster close and positive working relationships with staff, key clients and customers is essential as are sound verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in functions events, large volume catering and retail will be well considered.
- Relevant industry experience at management level
- Experience in the delivery of high-end corporate style functions is imperative.
- Proactive leader who is professional, positive and supportive
- High levels of customer satisfaction.
