The Role:
Our Key Account Manager will be targeted to grow the business by adding new customers and expanding existing ones, partnering with Customer Success Managers to identify and close expansion opportunities.
Our Customer Success Managers are great at driving success, but not at driving commercial expansion; here’s where you step in This role will allow us to capitalise on all the awesome work we do with our valued, enterprise customers; by identifying new opportunities and driving them to closure.
Our Key Account Manager will be engaging with senior and executive stakeholders in super strategic conversations about how Plexus has helped change the game for them and what can we do next; they will be identifying and creating new demand for our products with both legal teams, but also other, cross functional business units, especially when it comes to what we do best - Automating workflows
We are a high growth business, embarking on international expansion and therefore securing referrals to other regions to drive global growth will definitely be a part of this role, as well as securing budget for expansion and managing a pipeline of expansion opportunities with accurate forecasting.
At 100% renewal rate, this role is a dream role. Once our first Key Account Manager is on ground, we will be building others around them at some point, so the room for growth and development is inevitable for the right person.
Desired Outcomes:
- Partner with CSMs to identify and develop expansion opportunities.
- Engage senior and executive level customers on new/additional challenges and position Plexus solutions to address.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of expansion opportunities.
- Develop proposals, business cases, etc to secure a budget for investment in expansion.
Key Capabilities:
- Proven track record of driving expansion with existing Enterprise customers across many years, even through challenging global situations out of your control
- Proven track record of collaboration with CSMs/AMs to identify and close expansion opportunities
- Experience in SaaS
- Experience creating demand for products and securing budgets where one does not exist
- Experience engaging C-level executives on their strategic challenges and shaping these to lead to our products
