**About the role**
The NSW Department of Customer Service (DCS) is seeking a senior change manager to join a team providing organisational (people) change management services across the Department.
This is a hands-on and varied role that provides the opportunity to lead the design and delivery of change management initiatives on transformational programs of work impacting divisions across the Department.
The scope of the change team includes providing change management support directly to projects, uplifting the maturity of change management delivery across the portfolio and creating greater visibility of the change function within the organisation, so you can expect the work to be strategic, challenging and rewarding.
You will have experience in delivering end-to-end change, analysing and managing impacts and capability requirements, partnering with and understanding the needs of a diverse range of stakeholders, developing and delivering change approaches and planning and creating communications.
- At least five years demonstrated experience leading transformational change initiatives in complex organisational environments.
- Strong contemporary knowledge of best practice change management approaches and tools.
- Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to write and develop professional communications materials supporting change initiatives.
- A flexible and agile mindset with the ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.
- Experience partnering with project teams to successfully deliver projects and maintain momentum in the delivery of change.
- Capability to build and maintain effective relationships with customers and internal and external stakeholders.
