An Accounts Officer with our Finance department in Sydney is responsible for accurately processing day to day account receivable, account payable related tasks and other general accounting activities noted below:
**Responsibilities include**:

- AP related tasks including processing invoices, obtaining approval, managing payment as per payment terms and records management.
- Managing staff credit card reports for data entry.
- Daily processing of EFT receipts
- Daily reconciliation and uploading receipts into AR ledger
- Supporting the finance team with month-end processes.
- Other duties as required or assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2-5 years working in Accounts payable preferably in a financial service company.
- Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Adaptability and flexibility to adjust priorities as new tasks and projects arise
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information properly.
- Strong time management skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in the written form.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
- Technically proficient in MS Office; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams

**Salary Range - $60,000 to $65,000 plus super annually**.
