**Responsibilities**:
Reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager, TEEG is seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to take ownership of processing, verifying and reconciling supplier invoices and statements.

**In addition, you will be responsible for**:

- Follow up on pending vendor invoices and inconsistencies with purchase orders,
- High volume processing of invoices (1500-2000 per week),
- Maintain an up-to-date AP system to facilitate on time payment of invoices,
- Participate with initiatives that enable profit maximization and cost minimisation for the business,
- Processing freight and duty invoices through tax invoice journals,
- Preparing and processing team member expenses and prize funds refunds,
- Obtaining statements at month end for accrual purposes,
- Setting up and maintaining supplier master files in line with company policy and procedures,
- Taking charge of customer prize refunds, refunds, employee expense claims and other ad hoc duties as required.

Skills and Experience
This role is integral to maintaining positive relationships with our stakeholders, business units and suppliers. We are seeking someone who is self-driven, a team player and looking for long term growth within a global company.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience with an Account Payable role or similar position,
- Experience with high volume invoice processing (1000+ weekly is favourable),
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (inclusive of Excel), Microsoft Dynamics 365, MYOB and SAP are desired,
- An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills,
- Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills,
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail,
- The ability to manage multiple competing priorities and prioritise accordingly.
