Executive Manager - Deposits Product Pricing

As an experienced Executive Manager, you will lead the Deposits Pricing & Governance (DPG) Centre of Excellence (COE) for Pricing, Analytics, and Data Science. In this role, you will be responsible for the P&L outcomes of the Retail Deposits portfolio, a key driver of customer outcomes, a significant contributor to RBS and Group financial performance, and a crucial source of funding for the broader CBA group. P&L outcomes will be achieved through superior management of interest rates to ensure an optimal balance, net interest earnings (NIE), and market share results.

Your team will provide insights and data science support across the broader DPG Crew, manage regulatory reporting for the DPG and Open Banking Crews, and support frontline teams with pricing-related matters for select deposit products. As a leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the broader Everyday Banking Customer Value Proposition (CVP) strategy as we work to enhance our market-leading proposition.

**Do work that matters**:
As Centre of Excellence Lead, you will;
- Lead a team of experts in Product, Analytics, and Data Science
- Develop and deliver a strategic pricing strategy
- Manage day-to-day interest rates across multiple products
- Oversee the short, medium, and long-term performance and profitability of the deposit product portfolio by understanding and balancing all business levers (e.g., balances, pricing, risk, and cost to serve) to meet annual target metrics for balance, volume growth, net interest earnings, fee income, market share growth, sales, and cost levels
- Enhance Retail Deposits pricing decision tools/assets, including market share, price optimisation, retention, acquisition, and internal & external churn/switch
- Collaborate with the Acquisition, Engagement & Retention Crew to develop and enhance price offers utilising the Group's core customer engagement engine
- Work with the broader DPG Crew to deliver product and pricing strategies that enhance our product proposition
- Monitor and respond to competitor risks, industry/market trends, regulatory changes, compliance issues, and Reserve Bank monetary policy impacts on product portfolio performance
- Contribute financially viable insights to the formulation of product CVPs and customer management models
- Contribute to distribution strategies that increase product penetration across channels by identifying customer needs and recommending solutions that align with our One CommBank and Omni Channel objectives
- Act as a role model by consistently displaying leadership behaviours that foster productive working relationships and a strong performance culture within the Deposits and Everyday Banking teams, and the broader Retail Products team
- Provide analytical support to the entire DPG Crew
- Manage regulatory data requests for the DPG and Open Banking Crews
- Manage stakeholders across Domains, Business Units, or Support Units, and leveraging expertise in regulatory requirements to present to external regulators and the Board
- Maintain key relationships with Treasury, Finance, and frontline teams
- Act as the voice of the customer and business, translating insights into actionable strategies for the squad
- Ensure compliance with all obligations across customer, regulatory, internal policy, and process frameworks (e.g., GDF, PDDP, RiC)
- Identify, articulate, and manage risks, dependencies, and compliance across work streams (e.g., customer propositions)
- Manage the squad's performance to meet defined objectives, including OKR tracking
