**The Company**

Work for a Successful Global Infrastructure company with a successful Procurement/Category team, working on an annual spend up to $500 million.

**The role**

Reporting into the Head of Procurement, the responsibilities include:

- Supporting bid teams and the acquisition of new business through the provision of effective and current online agreements, rate cards and contracts.
- Create, execute and manage full category strategy for their MRO portfolio.
- Onboard and manage new suppliers to their companies preferred supplier list.
- Understanding engineering and regulatory cost drivers providing advice on the business implications of cost benefits to ensure outcomes are aligned to the organization's strategic goals
- Influencing and mobilizing key stakeholders to deliver impactful change.
- Using industry knowledge and best practice concepts to develop and execute category and sourcing plans.

**Your background**

In order to be successful in this role, you will be/need:

- Experience within Category management in a large complex organization
- MRO/Engineering experience would be desirable.
- Confident to present to senior internal stakeholders and external regulator
- Proven track record of creating and executing category strategies.
- Understanding of strategic drivers and how to link to goals and performance in the business
- Knowledge of assigned Categories including industry players, emerging trends, and competitive strategies.
