**Customer Service Officer**

Become a part of our international Sales & Business Development team at one of our locations in Brisbane, Australia. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime (40h/week) as Customer Service Officer

**Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Responsible for providing full support to the Management and Sales teams and guidance to the Operations departments for both general
- and project-based clientele
- Ensure the departments operate profitably, move cargo on time and to specifications by assisting with the organisation of contractors, agents, clients, etc and provide information to management as so instructed
- Manage general cargo rate enquiries from deugro´s eisting client base as well as agent/office network
- Communicate with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls
- Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date data is recorded and processed in deugro’s CRM platform in accordance with company procedures

**What you can contribute**:

- Minimum of two years’ experience in a freight forwarding role
- Good understanding of pricing strategies, key and contractual terms and conditions
- These qualities characterize you: analytical, assertiveness,
- Excellent communications and presentation skills (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
- Experience in Cargo Wise preferred
- Ability to hold client meeting both via teams and in person
- Able to recognize new opportunities and offer solutions
