A leading education organisation in Cairns CBD are seeking a Technical Solutions Analyst to design, create, implement and support the software and systems used across this organisation in the Far-North QLD region

**Your new role**
This organisation, whilst having their corporate HQ located in Cairns’ CBD, lead and support a multitude of sites (schools, colleges, etc) from Cairns to the Torres Strait. Within this corporate structure, the IT Division oversees all technical activities across various sites throughout the region including support, development, leadership and management. As part of this they are expanding their Software Team who are responsible for all tailored software solutions (including the designs, builds and deployments) for each site which are predominantly based on SharePoint and the Microsoft eco system.

From this, they are seeking a Technical Solutions Analyst to bring experience, knowledge and hands-on technical skills to the projects that are currently underway as well as future pipeline projects. Within this team you will be charged with liaising with this teams’ customers (located across various sites) to deliver solutions from end to end including stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, technical planning and resource allocation to name a few.

The solutions and projects you will be working on vary from customer to customer. Some may be an expansion of their SharePoint infrastructure to accommodate customer workflows, to the development of custom PowerBI dashboards to the re-configuration of SQL Servers. Not just limited to technical solutions, the issues your clients may face could be solved by changing established processes, educating them on best practices or by simply referring them to a different point of contact. To ensure the successful delivery of each and every project, travel is a requirement of this role to visit each site and stakeholder as and when required.

Aside from the technical and solutions aspect of this role, as a senior member of this team, whilst not in a people leadership position, as part of your remit you will be tasked with the coordination and technical supervision (including best practises) of other members of staff. This will include the allocation of tasks, prioritisation of work and ensuring the collaboration with other teams is conducted when needed.

**What you'll need to succeed**
With the responsibilities of this role being a mixture of Business Analytics, Software Development, Solution Consultation and Project Management you will need experience and knowledge across as much of the following as possible:

- SharePoint and its ecosystem
- Microsoft Power Platform (MS PowerApps, Power Automate, etc)
- Microsoft 365
- Technical mind set and problem-solving skills
- Stakeholder engagement and management
- Developing and maintaining technical and user support documentation
- Establishing work priorities, manage workflows and meet deadlines
