**Your new company**

A globally focused Digital Solution MineTech organisation backed by a global Japanese technology conglomerate is seeking a Technical Product/Solutions Manager (with a focus on IoT Infrastructure and Operational Technology). This role will see you work as part of a newly created Digital Solutions Team at this MineTech’s global operations centre in Brisbane. This in a high paced Silicon Valley style start up environment, backed by a multi-billion dollar multinational firm.

**Your new role**

This MineTech organisation services the technological needs of mining companies throughout the world. With clients in several continents along with offices around the globe, this organisation is soon to be brought under the umbrella of its parent organisation resulting in a soon to be created Digital Solutions Division based in Brisbane and growing globally.

Your new role as this team’s Technical Product/Solutions Manager will see you create technical and oversee solutions (initially as prototypes then fully fledged) to digitalise the operation of mine sites throughout the world. Specialising within the IoT and OT domains with a big focus on next generation data analytics and AI, the solutions you will be a part of are multifaceted.

As part of these solutions, you will work alongside customers, engineers and third party partner companies to help identify and create the digital solutions being built. Not constrained to working just in house, you will identify and liaise with third party tech company’s (e.g. AI based asset health and sustainability technology companies, etc) to incorporate their capabilities into your solutions. As part of this, you will have the chance to identify suitable organisations to be acquired and brought inhouse to further your teams R&D capabilities.

Whilst based in Brisbane, travel to these customers and third party companies not just domestically but intentionally may be required from time to time. Alongside this, travel to offices in North America, Japan, etc will be occasionally required throughout your tenure to showcase prototypes, liaise with leadership, witness solutions in situ, etc.

**What you'll need to succeed**

With this senior role encompassing many elements, you will need experience/knowledge across as much of the following as possible:

- Enterprise IoT architecture and infrastructure (‘Industrial IoT’)
- Operation Technology (PLC’s, Scada, etc)
- Time series database technologies (i.e. InfluxDB)
- AWS and it’s ecosystem (e.g. S3, EMR, Redshift, etc) or equivalents
- Enterprise Data Storage/Lake/Warehousing
- Multitenancy architecture
- Experience working with both a startup and corporate environment highly regarded
- Working in (or an understanding of the mining/recourses sector) advantageous (but not essential)
- Technical documentation
- Working with stakeholders (internal and external) of all levels
- Perfect communication skills (written and verbal)
