The role: We are seeking a casual role Admin assistant based in our Cranbourne Office with experience working in the similar role in Disability/Mental Health sector. Reporting to Senior Management, schedule day-to-day activities will include the following;
- Provide exceptional customer service in a timely manner.
- Answering calls from employees and clients
- Liaise with the care team and accounts team to ensure uninterrupted client service.
- Documentation and related office administration Tasks.
- Data Entry: Creating employee profiles
- Printing, scanning and photocopying
- Managing employee's files
- Keeping notes from all internal and external communication
- Coordinating and overseeing all rostering and scheduling tasks
- Ensure all rostering and scheduling requests are efficiently and effectively managed in consultation with participants and care team
- Ensure support workers are placed into active shifts based on individual participant needs and follow up progress
- Actively participate in a rotating on-call roster outside of normal business hours (Ability to be on-call at home on rotational weekends and evenings)
- Ensure complaints & compliments are dealt efficiently
- Record Management & Data Entry tasks
- Support and guide a pool of Disability Support Workers with their day-to-day activities
- Working closely with our Management Team & Intake Managers to develop teams of care for participants
- Identifying shortfalls and managing proactive solutions within the team
- Other duties as required by your line manager or delegate

**Essential Criteria**

Strong customer service experience (mandatory)
- Possess excellent computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Have excellent written & oral communication skills, influencing & negotiation skills and critical problem-solving skills
- Possess excellent organisational, time management skills and attention to detail
- Have previous experience of working in a scheduling role;
- Background as a support / care worker / customer service [or similar] role with people in healthcare or disability areas is desirable.
- Clear NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children & the right to work in Australia.

Initially, this is a Part
- time role working 20-30 hours per week. We aim to offer a Permanent Full-time role once the probationary period is successfully reached.
