**Public Sector People** are working with a number of government organisations within Southeast Queensland.

We have multiple roles available in GOLD COAST, LOGAN, IPSWICH, and southern outer suburbs of Brisbane.

We are looking for Several AO3, APS4 & Band 3 or 4 Level Project Support officers / Project Administrators for a 6-month / 12 months Contract positions with the possibility of extension or direct appointment. These roles are in LOCAL, STATE and FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENTS.

There will be ongoing training and development within the role. Flexible working is welcomed.

This is a role that will suit someone who is looking to advance their career from an administrator to a support officer role and even into a coordinator position.

The role will be fast paced, with a combination of Administration, Decision making, supporting project managers/SME’s, and using a high level of autonomy.

Projects are in Transport, Parks, and Infrastructure areas.

**Responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones, and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans
- Providing high level administrative support to project managers and team members
- Helping with Project agendas, Meetings and Minutes
- Project Support of Approval Documentation, Contract administration and Project procurement activities
- Support collection of business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis to express requirements clearly and succinctly.
- Communicate with relevant stakeholders to provide updates regarding project status and implementation issues

**About you**:

- You will have experience working within LOCAL, STATE or FEDERAL government.
- You will have worked on project or multiple projects previously.
- You have excellent attention to detail and pick up systems quickly.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve and use your initiative
- You thrive under pressure; Stressful environments bring the best out of you.
