Join a high-profile State Government department as an AO3 Project Communications Support Officer on a 6-month contract with possible 2 x 12 months' extension.

**Your new role**

In the role of Project Communications Support Officer, you will utilise a broad range of computer software programs and information management systems and databases to provide high level support services to the communications and stakeholder engagement teams on road infrastructure projects. You will provide administrative and project support to enhance the timely and effective delivery of communication project/s, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies and procedures.
- Providing high level administrative support to the communication manager and team members, including taking and distributing minutes, preparing documents and reports, establishing and maintaining spreadsheets and registers and providing timely information, updates and presentations as required.
- Provide support for communication and stakeholder management document and stakeholder management systems, correspondence systems and related activities. Including preparation of documents, liaising with team members and assisting with administrations processes related to road-related project communications in alignment with the departmental protocols, processes and governance.
- Ensuring communication project documentation is accurately compiled, tracked and recorded, and followed up to ensure timely delivery and approvals within set timeframes.
- Provide administrative support to ensure tasks are completed within specified deadlines.
- Ensure operational practices and standards of service and performance comply with departmental and regional policies, legislation (incl. WH&S), and governance obligations.

- Experience in taking and distributing minutes, preparing documents and reports, establishing, and maintaining spreadsheets
- Experience in communication and stakeholder management
- Great time management
- Excellent communication skills

**What you'll get in return**

In return, you will be offered a 6-month contract with the possibility of 2 years extension. You will be joining a dynamic and collaborative team that is based centrally on the Gold Coast.
