An exciting opportunity is now available for a 6 month fixed term office administrator role (with the possibility of converting to a permanent position) within our Head Office in North Lakes.
**The Company**
Inclusive Support Service provides in-home support, community access and concierge services to individuals living with a disability. We put the needs of the participant at the forefront of all our activity to enable the individual to live a lifestyle of their choice and strive to provide the right staff to meet the individual’s care needs. Simply put, our aim is to provide a standard of care that we would want for our own families
**The Role**
**Duties will include but are not limited to**:
- Performing basic clerical and operating tasks, including filing, scanning, archiving, and maintaining databases/registers
- Working collaboratively with all departments within Head Office
- Maintaining staff files and preparing staff files (digital and hard copy) for audit
- Maintaining registers and databases pertaining to staff uniforms, ID cards, and vehicle compliance
- Taking minutes of staff meetings, particularly Head Office team meetings and for disciplinary hearings
- Placing stationery and PPE orders
- Planning and organising staff and client events, along with receiving and responding to attendees’ feedback with the intention of striving for continual improvement and high customer satisfaction
- Attend staff meetings as required and engage with other staff to provide solutions and suggestions for improvement
- Maintain a demonstrated commitment to continual training and development
- Maintain a neat and tidy workspace
- Providing high-quality customer service with support workers, participants, and stakeholders/visitors to the Head Office facility
- Working with staff to create a positive team and organisational culture and promoting and embodying Inclusive Support Service’s values
- Perform other/ad-hoc duties as required.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience in a clerical/office administrator position, ideally within the Disability Industry or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written and listening
- Demonstrated reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to problem solve, think creatively and find innovative solutions
- Paid Blue Card
- Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Card
- Australian Drivers Licence with own reliable vehicle and fully comprehensive car insurance
- Minimum two Covid-19 vaccinations
- Smartphone with internet access
**Essential Skills**:
- Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels - written, phone, and face to face
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and computer skills for the creation of reports, databases, correspondence, and other documents
- Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally
- Strong IT and technological skills, including an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Excel
- Strong knowledge of Employment Hero software or willing to learn
- Willingness to promote a connected and positive work environment for all team members, collaborating with various/all areas of the Head Office Management Team
- Ability to multitask and prioritise projects
- Accomplish objectives effectively within time frames and carry out administrative duties in an efficient and timely manner
- Ability to confidently work both autonomously and as part of a team, working collaboratively with all areas of Head Office
- Able to problem-solve and use initiative
- Flexible and adaptable, welcoming change and promoting the growth of the business
