**The Opportunity**

**Hitachi currently has an opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Technical Services Specialist**to join our dynamic **Fleet Management System (FMS) team**. This role can be based in our _Perth_ or _Brisbane_ Branch.

**Working with the National Operations Manager you will be responsible for**:

- Delivery and installation of products to customers
- Diagnosis of reported problems
- Review and contribute to product documentation
- Repair embedded computer systems hardware
- Plan and practice for system implementation and upgrade projects

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- In field experience with technology products.
- Proven experience installing and supporting complex IT systems in the field
- Hands-on hardware and software system level troubleshooting
- An understanding of wireless and radio propagation principles
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- An ability to clearly communicate technical concepts
- Willing to learn new technologies and new ways of approaching projects
- Frequent travel to remote mine sites will be required
