Lead Control Systems Engineer – Perth, WA

Are you ready to take the lead in delivering complex, high-impact control systems projects across WA? Our client is a specialist Electrical & Control Systems integrator with a reputation for excellence, a full order book, and a track record of delivering tailored solutions to some of Australia's most exciting projects.

As Lead Control Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in guiding project delivery, mentoring engineers, and ensuring technical excellence across the design, integration, and commissioning lifecycle.

Based in Perth, WA, you'll enjoy a mix of office-based engineering leadership and occasional site travel to support project execution.

Lead end-to-end design, development, and delivery of control systems projects.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers.

Interface with clients to define requirements, propose solutions, and ensure successful outcomes.

Oversee integration, configuration, and commissioning activities.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety, and best practices.

Proven experience in Control Systems Engineering (PLC, SCADA, HMI, automation integration).

Familiarity with systems such as Allen Bradley, Rockwell, Schneider will be held in high regard. As well as some exposure to GE, Emerson or Inductive Automation.

Track record leading or mentoring engineering teams.

Strong client-facing and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a specialist consultancy/integrator environment.

Perth-based role with work that stays close to home.

Occasional site travel – variety without FIFO lifestyle.

A strong pipeline of projects with a trusted, reputable integrator.
