Reporting to the **Technical Product Specialist Supervisor,** this **Technical Product Specialist**role will be the Subject Matter Expert in Caterpillar MineStar technology products specifically related to the underground mining sector with a focus on Caterpillar’s MineStar “Command for Underground” system and provide technical support and solutions to WesTrac stakeholders and customers.

**Location**:Perth Precinct (Perth Airport, WA)

**Roster**: Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour days

**Key focus areas where you will make a difference**:

- Provide high level specialist support and services to customers on a specific or limited expertise range of Caterpillar technology products such as MineStar Command & Fleet
- Providing development and support to key stakeholders both internal and external
- Consult with all stakeholders through identification and scoping of technical compatibilities and requirements to deliver on required end solution

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Demonstrated experience within a similar role and environment
- Experience with underground mining tele remote systems.
- Advanced knowledge of the MineStar office environment
- Experience with Microsoft Active directory
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) with the ability to cultivate relationships at all levels
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot, ideally in a support environment
- Highly developed negotiation, mentoring and influencing skills
