Our team provides claims services for Workers Compensation insurance. Workers Compensation provides cover for personal injuries sustained in the course of employment. Allianz employs claim staff to assist claimants rebuild their lives when they need us most. As a Technical Specialist, you will provide technical claims management advice, participate in collaborative consultation with other technical specialists, Injury Management Specialists and implementing new ideas to create value for customers and staff.

About The Role

  • Assist in achieving the team's targets and KPI's and will be responsible for providing specialist advice to the claims managers.
  • Offer accurate and effective claims management advice and implement best practice technical claims management strategies
  • Claim review approvals
  • Assist with settlement offers and attending conferences with counsel, expert witnesses, and lawyers
  • Build effective working relationships with a variety of key stakeholders

About You

  • Significant Workers Compensation experience & knowledge of the associated legislation
  • Experience in development of others
  • Demonstrated results in a performance driven environment
  • Analytical skills & attention to detail
  • Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Time management skills and a proactive approach
  • A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape
