**Project Officer, Grants, Finance, and Systems**
A unique role offered by State Government based in Parramatta close to public transport offers 10 months contract that could lead to longer-term opportunities, this role is about providing a comprehensive and timely financial, budgetary management, reporting, and project systems service to the Grants Branch to support best practice in grant program administration and financial management.

**About the Role**
- Undertaking key financial and systems activities that support the effective implementation and administration of grant funding and programs, including financial planning, budget analysis, forecasting and reporting
- Identify, analyze and monitor issues, trends, and risks
- Draft, prepare and present financial reports, models, and submissions that effectively support the branch’s operations
- Be the face for financial inquiries related to various grant and environmental programs
- Liaise with grants administration staff and key stakeholders, and be the intermediary between the Funding, Strategy, and finance team
- Undertake project & systems work and advanced analysis to report within the branch related to the effective administration of grant management systems
- Develop and implement financial and operational policies, processes, guidance, and procedures
- Build capacity amongst staff by providing guidance and training in the use of financial and grants management systems, policies, processes and procedures

**Skills & Experience you need in**
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Knowledge of systems and processes, undertaking advanced analysis, with the use of appropriate software, of grants, performance, financial data, and reporting of results
- Be able to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- CA or CPA required
