Our large NSW State Government client is responsible for leading the whole-of-government disaster and emergency efforts from prevention right through to recovery

**About the Role**
They are currently seeking an Assistant Project Officer with extensive grants experience to join their growing team located in Sydney Olympic Park. This is an estimated 9-months temp assignment, strong potential to extend

Working within the Finance and Investment Delivery Business Unit, you will be required to provide a wide range of project and administration support to assist in the development and delivery of funding and grants for organisational objectives

In this role you will be responsible for but not limited to the following
- Carry out grant’s delivery administrative tasks
- Track, monitor and report on project plans, statuses, milestones, budgets and deliverables
- Gather and collate information to support informed decision-making outcomes
- Undertake research and analysis in assigned project areas
- Maintains up to date knowledge of project and grants concepts, practices and procedures
- Schedule and coordinate meetings
- Preparation of high-level documents including meeting minutes, agenda’s briefs, correspondence and reports
- Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Participate in team meetings to facilitate the sharing of information and continuous improvement practices
- Ensuring compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

**About You**
To secure this opportunity you will have
- Previous Project, Administration or Business support experience
- Demonstrated Grants management or financial administration experience essential
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise competing deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite and TRIM
- Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
- Reliable remote internet access to work remotely from home
- Fully COVID Vaccinated or Medical exemption
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
