Trust Manager - Native Title

Perpetual Private is seeking a motivated Trust Manager - Native Title.

Perpetual Private requires a Trust Manager - Native Title to manage our native title trusts and develop strong relationships with Aboriginal clients and internal and external partners.

What will you be doing?

Sounds interesting? Here are some specifics about the opportunity:

- Administer native title trusts in accordance with legislation, company policy and procedures (e.g: payment processing, advisory council meetings, compliance plans, reporting, reviews and client communication on a profitable & sound commercial basis
- Understand the Aboriginal communities needs and circumstances so that all trust relationships can be managed for their end benefit, and Perpetual can continue to improve its offering
- Assist in issue resolution with Trustee Operations & other internal teams
- Work proactively and collaboratively to document and improve policies and procedures relating to all elements of trust administration

What you will need to succeed:
To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills and experience could include:

- A demonstrated commitment to building capacity and empowering Aboriginal communities
- Tertiary qualification preferred however not essential
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in estate and/or trust administration, with a trustee company, finance company or legal firm, an Aboriginal Corporation or working in Aboriginal communities
- Experience working in a client centric business environment
- Ability to progress multiple administrative matters concurrently
- Strong client and stakeholder (internal & external) management skills
