We have a unique opportunity for a Key Account Manager based in either Sydney or Melbourne, to join our global client specializing in information technology services and consulting. In this challenging and diverse role, you will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of the multiple client floors within the employee and guest services departments (FM, Workplace and Catering) nationally and in NZ; therefore some interstate/overseas travel will be required. This is a role for a focussed and motivated manager with a background in catering/hospitality, along with experience in developing and maintaining effective business relationships with clients, meeting business outcomes and maintaining market leadership opportunities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Build strong relationships with clients and develop a thorough understanding of all contractual requirements
- Establish and monitor high quality operational standards
- Provide support to the sales and tender process where needed
- Implement strategies and business improvement to ensure contract retention
- Identify and create new business opportunities
- Effectively manage the cost of goods within the workplace
- Identify and execute plans to incrementally improve business performance
- Oversee & manage finances within budget
- Establish and maintain a positive workplace culture
**About You**:
- Business / Degree Qualification or contract management experience
- Background in Hospitality Management or Catering (preferred)
- Minimum 4 years Industry experience leading people in a management role
- In depth understanding of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment
- Intermediate to Advanced level - Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- High level communication skill with clients and contractors
- Working knowledge of workplace regulations, including award & agreement requirements
- Ability to identify contract retention and new business opportunities
- COVID vaccinations and a current National Police Check (mandatory)
