Principal Advisor, Strategy and Capability

As the Principal Advisor, you will lead the capability function within the supportive and engaged Strategy and Capability team in Human Resources. You have an opportunity to deliver high-impact learning and development solutions that foster a constructive organisational culture to enable our people to deliver vital services for Queenslanders and other Queensland Government agencies.
**Key responsibility include**:
- Overseeing the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning and development strategy, programs and initiatives.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to ensure learning and development offerings and delivery methods remain contemporary, relevant and responsive to learners and business needs.
- Managing budgets, vendor relationships, and provider contracts in line with departmental procurement and purchasing guidelines.
- Working with a range of stakeholders across the department, sector and industry in a way that fosters collaboration and service excellence.
- Preparing correspondence including briefing notes, submissions and reports relating to workforce capability matters.
