About the role
In the role of Principal Advisor (Project Management Capability) you will: contribute to the development and implementation of statewide project management capability development approaches, policies, support tools and services for TMR; provide effective contract management and reporting of learning and development training providers; provide effective management, advertising and communication services to support delivery of the TMR Project Management Training Program; and provide support and guidance to TMR divisions in their efforts to improve project management capability development.
The role will include but not limited to;
- Support the strategic leadership and guidance to project management capability developments within TMR.
- Lead the TMR Learning Strategy component on Project Management Capability Development.
- Development of the state-wide methods and approaches for project management capability development.
- Evaluate TMR's project management learning and development needs through a number of high level as well as operational level needs analysis covering areas
- Developing and managing the TMR Project Management Training Program for project and program management and related functions.
- Provide specialist advice to TMR divisions and units on the requirements, selection and development of specific project management capability initiatives and training programs.
- Contract manage a Standing Offer Arrangement for Project Management Learning and Development providers to make operational the TMR Project Management Training Program.

- Has Knowledge and experience in training and development tools would be advantageous (but not mandatory).
- Has Substantial experience in developing capability development materials and delivering specialised project management training or similar would be highly desirable.
