**Role Purpose**

The purpose of this role is to deliver exceptional claims service and leadership under the Icare NSW workers compensation scheme. Establish a comprehensive service provider framework for procuring, growing, retaining, and managing the panel of service providers for GB & Icare. The role also involves negotiating and establishing contractual partnerships with service providers for mutual and sustainable benefits.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure independent contractors understand terms of the agreement, meet the required license/certification/insurance requirements, and consistently comply with requirements supporting GBs service design objectives.
- Negotiate competitive rates between the GB and the Service Provider.
- Work with the Service Provider to identify technical capabilities of the company number and skill level
- Conduct reviews based on KPI’s and quality control audits and address service/performance issues identified.
- To deliver high quality customer service towards all parties involved in the services
- Maintaining timeframes as outlined in the Service Framework.

**Experience & Skills**

**Essential**
- Relevant experience in vendor management and contract negotiation
- Supply chain knowledge, specific with trade sourcing expertise
- Strong financial, analytical, and business acumen
- Be self-directed and motivated.

**Desirable**
- Exposure to insurance or workers compensation claims organisation
