Robert Half Executive Search have been exclusively retained to find an experienced and strategic leader to join as Executive Manager, Service Provider Management. This is a hybrid opportunity and could see you working in either Melbourne, Sydney or Newcastle.

Reporting to the COO, you will be responsible for developing, embedding and uplifting the Service Provider Management Framework to ensure compliance with APRA Prudential Standard CPS230 Operational Risk Management.

This is a pivotal senior role providing oversight of third- and fourth-party risk management, driving continuous improvement, and engaging across the Group's Risk Management Framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Service Provider Management Office to embed the Framework across the Group
  • Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise to guide business decisions
  • Continuously uplift the Framework in line with regulation, best practice and strategy
  • Oversee governance, due diligence and monitoring of material service providers
  • Run the Service Provider Governance Forum and oversee APRA reporting requirements
  • Lead the design and implementation of a vendor management system
  • Partner with stakeholders to negotiate terms and achieve favourable outcomes

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in business
  • 8+ years' experience in service provider management or similar role in financial services (ideally superannuation)
  • Deep understanding of APRA Prudential Standards (particularly CPS230)
  • Proven ability to develop and embed frameworks and controls
  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering regulatory and business outcomes
