We have an exciting opportunity for an Event Operations Coordinator to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Reporting to the Venue Operations Manager, in this role you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of events including Suncorp Super Netball and ATP Cup as well as all functions, film shoots and school bookings at Ken Rosewall Arena and Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre. Your responsibilities will include managing event procurement, venue operations, function room bookings, and stakeholder and supplier relations to support Tennis NSW.

About the role
- In this role you will;_
- Plan and coordinate the operational delivery of events at Ken Rosewall Arena and Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Centre
- Identify new business opportunities and secure new bookings
- Provide event supervision and operational support ensuring a high standard of event delivery
- Collaborate with the Venue Operations Manager and contractors to ensure exceptional venue presentation and maintenance standards are met
- Manage financial administrative duties as required including preparing event budgets, raising purchasing orders and ensuring suppliers are paid in a timely manner

About you
- What you will bring to the role:_
- Strong understanding of the operational and commercial elements of managing a sporting venue
- Demonstrated experience working in event operations, venues or similar, preferably within the sports industry
- High-level of administration and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with various stakeholders
- Preparedness to work flexible working hours including weekends and evenings as required
- You must hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
