National Commercial Manager

We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a National Commercial Manager - MPC. This newly created senior manager position will report to the General Manager of Communities Finance and will be be responsible for partnering with the MasterPlanned Communities Leadership Team and General Manager of Communities to deliver the financial strategy of the MPC Business and support the development of our 75,000 lot development pipeline with an end value in excess of $22 billion.

Forming part of the MPC leadership team lead by the Executive General Manager of Masterplanned Communities, you will be a strong people leader who will lead and develop a high performing team of 25 commercial finance professionals to consistently deliver the MPC business strategy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- The delivery of Annual FFO and Capital Targets for the MPC Business
- Responsible to delivering key commercial support to the MPC Business to drive effective business decisions and allocations of capital
- Responsibility for timely, relevant and accurate financial: planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting (including risk and opportunities, key drivers of performance) of the strategic development pipeline to enable strategic value creation, leveraging CoE across the finance team
- Responsible for assisting with financials for capital requests and growth initiatives.
- The delivery of key Financial Reporting to meet internal and external reporting requirements.
- Responsible for the Financial Inputs into the Business Strategy
- Responsible for the financial operations and implementation of the SCP Capital Partnership within the MPC Business
- Develop, lead and coach a High Performing team of Commercial Finance Managers driving a networked and collaborative team.
- Responsible for the oversight of key Financial Governance policies and reporting, including Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet controls and governance
- Lead by example to deliver a collaborative and networked culture across both the MPC finance team and across the broader finance function.

**About you**:

- 5+ years experience at a senior manager level
- Experience leading and developing high performing teams of 25+ individuals
- Appropriate tertiary qualification/s is required
- CA / CPA or equivalent accreditation is required
- Experience in developing business plan and influencing broader strategy.
- Experience in leading commercial finance teams, financial accounting, forecasting & analysis or planning and business insight in a similar level role.
- Experience in working in capital partnering environments.
- Experience in senior finance leadership providing business partnering
- Experience in creating productive networks within and outside the organisation.
- Experience driving change in a finance organisation.
