WHAT YOU WILL MANAGE AND GROW
- This National Commercial Manager position, Sydney based, will actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within specified potential new and/or existing hospital customers/accounts and will actively network in the healthcare industry to establish relationships and to identify potential opportunities.
- You will work closely with the Sales Director, to identify and prioritise a list of target account opportunities for each 'prospecting cycle' (eg. quarterly/semi-annually) and establish and execute a comprehensive sales plan for each target account, across Australia.
- The role will ensure the appropriate strategy/solution is proposed to the customer and will monitor actions and results against sales plans/targets.
- You will proactively monitor status of leads and opportunities to ensure a pipeline of opportunities is maintained and lead the sales process and prepare and lead sales presentations, primarily talking to C-suite customers in hospitals to close multi-million $ deals.
- The position will maintain visibility within customer organisations and monitor customer satisfaction by communicating regularly with customer.
- You will prepare sales activity reports and collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders inclusive of marketing and operations to ensure that customer expectations are consistently exceeded.
WHAT EXPERIENCE WILL YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB?
- Experience within the Medical Technology/Devices or Digital Health field with experience selling into hospitals, to C-suite customers.
- You MUST be able to clearly articulate how you have grown sales, won new business and closed deals with who and how many deals you have closed in what timeframe with hospital C-suite executives.
- Comfortable communicating with C-suite executives and experience doing so and closing deals with these people, along with the skills to talk to healthcare related state & federal government officials/politicians discussing healthcare economics to develop relationships to grow sales in public hospitals nationally.
- Excellent understanding of healthcare and healthcare industry trends, (eg. telehealth).
- Excellent analytical skills in assessing and interpreting customer business data.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent analytical, report writing and research skills.
- Self-motivated and self-directed, capable of prioritising opportunities and performing multiple tasks.
- Ability to maintain demanding timelines and ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
