**About the role**:
As the Asset Officer, you will provide technical advice and support to Parks Victoria staff and external stakeholders on built assets and infrastructure. You will provide support for contract management and procurement activities for large scale and/or complex asset monitoring programs and will be responsible for delivering ad hoc technical inspections using established contractor panels. As the Asset Officer, you will coordinate review and creation of asset management documentation.

**We're looking for someone with**:

- Strong analytical ability - able to work effectively with Excel or visualisation or programming languages in the analysis of large data sets
- Demonstrated ability to develop dashboard business reporting based on stakeholder and governance reporting framework requirements
- Previous experience writing tenders, participating in tender evaluation committees and participating in contract negotiations within a state government policy framework (highly desirable)
- Sound skills in working through ambiguous problems and communicate solutions to senior stakeholders.

**About the branch**:
The Facilities and Asset Management Directorate provides leadership in Asset Management with specific focus on asset management strategy, planning and centralised monitoring and compliance programs for built assets. The division provides the strategies, business processes and systems to efficiently and effectively deliver these core asset planning functions enabling Parks Victoria to realise its delivery of quality park services to the community.
