Melbourne, Australia Public Sector People Full time

Public Sector People are working with a local council to recruit an Asset Systems Officer for a 3-month temporary contract assignment.

This will be an initial 3-month temporary contract assignment with opportunity for extension.

**Duties will include but not limited to**:

- Manage data (geospatial parameters, valuation information and physical attributes) on Councils infrastructure assets through the Councils Asset Management System (AMS) and corporate Geographical Information System (GIS)
- Develop, maintain and document the processes and procedures used to ensure the integrity and reliability of collected data
- Carry out data collection of physical assets by manual and electronic methods including the use of GPS technology
- Enter collected data into Councils AMS through electronic download or manual entry or a combination of the two

**Requirements include**:

- Demonstrated understanding of asset management system configuration and operation.
- Technical training and experience in databases, geographic information systems, computer aided design and standard Microsoft Office products.
- Experience in infrastructure design, maintenance or planning.
- Working with Children Check.
- National Criminal History Check.
- Covid-19 Vaccinations.
