**THE ROLE**
The Asset Planning Officer role is responsible for facilitating, organising and participating in processes that lead to the formulation and monitoring of asset management works, tracking and reporting on the delivery to ensure the Secretary and sector managed asset strategies are effectively implemented. The role supports the development of the annual capital program, and requires knowledge and analysis of relevant asset information, stakeholder consultation and coordination of planning processes, and experience in using the Housing Integrated Information Program (HiiP), and development of database and monitoring tools. This rewarding and challenging role will work collaboratively within the Specialist Accommodation team in the Asset Lifecycle Planning Unit.
**ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE**
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on a range of matters.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
- Manage the procurement of assigned projects and engagements, ensuring they are completed on time and on budget to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
