**ROLE PURPOSE**:
As our Team Coordinator, working in an allocated operational area of the Distribution Centre responsible for the day-to-day completion of all associated workload in the respective area.
This includes but not limited to team member rosters, absence & break management, controlling the daily or shift workflow, training (both new a refresher) for team members, OHS compliance, maximising key performance indicators & work in conjunction with the Operations Manager for continual improvements.
This Team Coordinator position is for our PM shift with hours from 4 pm to 12 am.
**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Ensuring the areas processes are effectively managed on a day to day basis.
- Assist Transport Manager with reporting and driver/carrier invoicing
- Cover for Metro and Country Team Leaders
- Responsible for ensuring health and safety requirements are understood and followed by team members of the work area.
- Directly coordinate all team members in their immediate work area and whilst "acting"
- during the provision of a Trainer role (but not including discipline or leave related issues which will be referred to the Operations Manager).
- Consult with other Team Coordinators to help achieve optimum performance in the respective area.
- Play an active responsible role in helping to exceed customer expectations.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude towards Our values of action, adaptability, care & team.
- Ensuring a work Health and Safety (WH&S) environment and hazards & incidents are correctly actioned in Donesafe.
- Ensure compliance on all standard operational processes for the immediate work area.
- Actively work with team manager in all areas of behaviour & communications within your team
- Complete all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality training (HSEQ) and demonstrate an ongoing commitment to the Winc Integrated Management System (HSEQ) plan, policy and processes.
**WHAT WE LOOK FOR**:
- Experience in first line team leadership in a warehousing environment
- Knowledge health & safety in the workplace
- Demonstrated leadership and vision in coordinating a small team in daily activities, projects or initiatives
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise team manager & senior management where required
