In this role you will plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate a range of communications and stakeholder related activities to support delivery of the project.
The focus of this role is to lead program and oversight project delivery, develop and deliver communications and engagement activities which support the projects engagement with stakeholders and guidance to the broader organisation on engagement related activities by:

**Key Accountabilities**
- Developing and implementing a stakeholder engagement plan and activities to effectively engage and leverage the year across all levels of government including state, local and federal as well as key industry stakeholders.
- Connecting with relevant stakeholder groups, including groups with people with lived experience, to build co-design capacity to deliver the stakeholder engagement plan
- Identifying opportunities for promotion and delivery of activities including forums and online events that will deepen engagement with stakeholders
- Establishing strong and effective partnerships with service providers, peak bodies, community groups and other key stakeholders.
**You will need to**:
- Work collaboratively across multiple portfolios and manage numerous stakeholders.
- Have a high level of experience in event development.
- Have strong engagement and communications skills to best support the department to engage with multiple stakeholders and to identify and deliver engagement material and content to support the initiative working closely with the department's communications and media team.
- Support internal business areas to identify potential risks that may impact the department's reputation and implement media strategies to mitigate risks.
- Build, maintain and promote effective working relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders, ensuring services are client-focussed, highly effective, and consistent with whole-of-department communication strategies and messaging.
- Demonstrate high-level project management skills, including the ability to successfully define priorities, coordinate activities and deliver results within specified timeframes.
- Have strong communication and negotiation skills and solid project management expertise.
