The Principal Engagement Officer, AO7 is a role in which you will:

- Develop and implement engagement strategies and procedures in consultation with stakeholders.
- Provide strategic advice and recommendations on complex and sensitive issues relating to major projects.
- Consult and negotiate with all levels of Government and stakeholders and encourage the development of strong partnerships with these sectors.
- Prepare timely and well researched briefings, reports, submissions and correspondence on major rehabilitation stakeholder issues for internal and external audiences.
- Analyse, understand and simplify complex information and scientific concepts, legislation and policy to co-ordinate communication materials.
- Develop and coordinate communication materials, such as newsletters, quarterly reports, annual report, information sheets and other external pieces.
- Maintenance of the QMRC website, Linkedin and any other platforms as required.
- Foster a workplace culture that supports and promotes the interests of First Nations people and actively engage through our work to contribute to better outcomes for First Nations people.

This position in based in the Brisbane CBD, however travel to regional centres and other offices from time to time. This includes overnight stays.
