**About the role**:
In this role you will engage with relevant business partners and stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage category, contract and supplier strategies that deliver sustained value aligned with our strategic procurement portfolio plan.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Partner with stakeholders to lead the development, implementation and performance management of category, contract, and supplier strategies
- Engage with the business to optimise Ampol’s purchasing in the short to medium term and to develop medium to long term procurement strategies
- Influence positive changes which will improve value and operational efficiency
- Advise on all aspects of category and supplier management and sourcing activity
- Conduct analysis of spend and supply markets to identify new opportunities

**About you**:
**Key skills and experience**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification (business) or experience in working as a category manager
- Extensive experience in managing a category portfolio (Marketing and related)
- Procurement professional certification (CIPS) _desirable only_
