**Position Summary**:
This role has the responsibility to lead Men’s Apparel and Team Sports merchandising divisions for Australia and New Zealand. It’s the Merchandising Manager's responsibility to build the best range, define retail prices, and define segmentation and launch dates for all the articles in the portfolio. This person will work close to all sales channels to ensure each one of them is covered from a range and margin standpoint enabling them to meet their seasonal targets.

This role is also responsible for leading Sydney FC and Essendon FC assortment from briefing to delivery.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Create the range segmentation strategy.
- Maximize revenue opportunity in long term strategy as well as ensure that wholesale accounts and direct to consumer channels reach their goals and financial targets.
- Responsible for defining seasonal men’s apparel product range, considering historical sell-through and strength of the current product offer to ensure Under Armour and client’s revenue and margin maximization.
- Responsible for defining retail price for all Men’s Apparel and Team Sports articles taking in consideration the competitive landscape and product margin targets.
- Responsible for leading the assortment for Sydney FC and Essendon FC from briefing to delivery.
- Responsible for setting Men’s Apparel and Team Sports products in the system, as well as making sure units are allocated to the right channels and bulk dates per article are accurate in the SAP system.
- Responsible for defining launch dates for all men’s apparel and team sports articles.
- Responsible for leading Men’s Apparel and Team Sports Go-To-Market Merchandising strategy.
- Responsible for identifying local consumer trends, local market requirements and opportunities on key accounts in order to influence Regional and Global teams on future developments
- Work with SAPAC men’s team to ensure alignment with Global and Regional strategies

**Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)**:

- Demonstrated experience developing strategic projects from scope through definition, work planning, execution management and measurement
- Experience defining and improving processes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- The ability to work effectively under time constraints in an environment where priorities must be continually re-evaluated and adapted as required
- Strong strategic thought leadership, negotiation, and influencing capabilities demonstrated through designing and managing end to end holistic solutions
- Advanced analytical, organization and time management skills, have high attention to detail
- Equipped with advanced level Microsoft Excel

**Education And / Or Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred
- 6 or more years of merchandising or wholesales related experience
