About the Role
AECOM’s People and Culture Team are looking for a lead for our NSW and ACT (NAC) region with 900 people. Reporting to the People and Culture Manager, Australia, this role is relied on to:
1. Build and develop a high performing regional leadership team
2. Support and develop regional leaders to actively and positively lead culture and cultural change
3. Be an active peer on regional leadership team
4. Be a trusted advisor to the Regional Managing Director, NAC
5. Lead a regional team of People and Culture Business Partners
6. Partner with assigned client groups to provide and drive People and Culture services
In addition to partnering with business leaders, you will work as part of a core team of People and Culture specialists across Australia and New Zealand, actively contributing to the development of our People and Culture agenda, and supporting the implementation of our Global and Regional HR Strategies. This role is responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of all aspect of the People and Culture agenda, including:
+ Employee relations
+ Performance and rewards
+ Talent Management and building leadership capability
+ Facilitating and supporting change management
+ Leading and supporting People and Culture projects
+ Constantly working to elevate a positive employee experience

You’ll have experience in working with and growing leadership teams so they can be at their best. You’ll have some well-polished facilitation and coaching skills and have courage to challenge and deliver radical candour where needed. Naturally you’ll be a seasoned professional in all aspects of human resources, with exceptional technical expertise in HR risk management, and ideally with experience in driving culture (or at least love the idea). You will lead with empathy, humility, respect and courage. You’ll help your team succeed, even if that means sacrificing your own agenda. To achieve this, we believe you’ll have a solid 10+ years of experience in HR and relevant tertiary qualifications.
