The Program Delivery team is responsible for managing the execution of all Consumer Wealth business and client projects. Projects are initiated in response to Government legislation change, new business or product opportunities and internal or external demands. The Enablement Team within Program Delivery provides portfolio level oversight, structure and delivery across programs and projects within Mercer Consumer Wealth (both Australia and New Zealand). The Program Delivery Team is responsible for the delivery of repeatable successful projects using a consistent methodology within a framework that encompasses both continuous process improvement and benefits tracking.
Program Delivery comprises a number of teams including - the Enablement Team (responsible for project lifecycle and portfolio oversight) and various Execution Teams & Practices (responsible for delivering approved projects). The Enablement Team is the first point of contact for all Mercer Consumer Wealth staff to initiate a project or requiring compliant standard program/project tools, templates and processes.
The Coordinator supports Program Project delivery and ensures effective usage of best practice project delivery methods, financial management of the program and data collation and analysis.
This includes a focus on project and program governance, all reporting and financial transactions. The Coordinator will maintain positive relationships within Program Delivery other business areas, with stakeholders and a focus on continuous improvement.
**Responsibilities;**
- Perform program administration, tracking and reporting activities for multiple Projects
- Ensure effective management of project portfolio financials, working with the program to optimise processes and ensure alignment with project governance, frameworks, standards and guidelines
- Provide administrative support within program for the program, projects, and team
- Support development and improvement of PMO templates, processes and tools
- Oversee project life-cycle methodology and governance processes
- Seek opportunities to develop own skills
**What you need to have**:
**Education**
- Tertiary qualifications in business related or financial services related discipline
**Experience**
- 5-10 years’ financial services preferable, experience in operations or reporting roles
- Experience in Project Management Office environment, financial management, resource and operations management
- Worked with delivery focused teams
**Knowledge and Skills (general and technical)**
- Advanced MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical skills with commercial acumen
- Understanding of enterprise level portfolio management and PMO processes
- Excellent planning skills
- Relationship building skills with a strong focus on supporting internal teams, clients and stakeholders
- Strong organisation, time management and prioritisation skills
- Comfortable working with stakeholders at a Senior and Executive level
