As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and organized Project Coordinator to join our team.
As a Project Coordinator specializing in data centres at Tate APAC, you will play a crucial role in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects related to the construction, expansion, or maintenance of data centre facilities. Working closely with cross-functional teams including project managers, engineers, technicians, and external contractors, you will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
**Project Planning and Scheduling**:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and milestones.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of project schedules using project management tools.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
**Resource Allocation and Procurement**:
- Assist in resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials required for project execution.
- Coordinate procurement activities, including obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
**Communication and Stakeholder Management**:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for project-related inquiries from internal teams, clients, and vendors.
- Facilitate regular meetings and communications to ensure all stakeholders are informed of project progress and updates.
**Quality Assurance and Compliance**:
- Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits to verify adherence to project specifications and requirements.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a project coordinator or similar role, preferably within the data centre or construction industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project
- PMP certification or equivalent is desirable but not required.
